Love the Quiet Time
I just love the Quiet Time when one project is finished before you start the next one,
sometimes that might just be 10 minutes, but that time is always cherished.
This little watercolour I did years ago always makes me stop and smile, there’s just
something calming about her.
Don’t forget Quiltmakers 100 Blog tour starts today
I will show you what I did with my block on Wednesday’s Blog Tour but
in the meantime don’t miss any of the tour which starts today.
Todays blocks are fantastic.

Wow, Arlene, what a pretty block!! Thanks so much for a chance at the give-away!
Ist one in-so my chances hit bottom. I loved the way you created your fabric center. I should do that!
Adorable scrap quilts are a lot of time, but well worth the effort
I same my scraps too and love the new projects that jump from them…. Very nice blocking.
I know a little angel girl who would love a quilt made of those fat quarters…
Hello Arlene! I love the block. The center looks like a mini patchwork quilt to me. And the bunny angel on the quilt you made is the perfect finishing touch. This quilt would be so perfect to decorate a nursery. I’m just stopping by to say “hello”. Don’t enter me in the giveaway, I’m on the tour, too. Have a super day!
This is simply precious! It is one of the sweetest quilts I’ve ever seen. It would make a beautiful baby gift.
what a good idea for all those precious little pieces of our favorite fabrics!
Your quilt and your block are both beautiful! I can see it made up in 30s reproductions, since those quilts are traditionally scrappy.
Love your block! Congrats on getting your block in the magazine!
Cute use of scraps. I love the little bunny.
I have a box with my “scraps” of your fabric because they are so different from what I normally work with and I totally love the fabric. Now I know exactly what to do with them! The bunny angel is absolutely precious.
What a good use of scraps! And the quilt is adorable.
I love pastel colors and your Rescued Scraps block is wonderful. I am trying to cut my scraps into squares or strips when I finish quilt so that they are ready to go into a scrap quilt.
I’m close to being speechless here… your artistic skills are #1, without one doubt! The use of those squares and the bunny…so beautiful! I’ve got about 8 great-nieces who would faint if this old great aunt got with the program and made each one their own sweet quilt! I’ve put you on “favorites” …the only one from the three days here on my first blog hop! Thank you, thank you, thank YOU!!
What a darling block and bunny!!! SO Sweet!!!
Love the story about how your block came to be. Your rabbits are so darn cute.

I have been telling myself that I want to make a quilt with lots of scrap fabrics and your block is a great way of using of my scraps. The little bunny appliqued on is adorable. Thanks for the chance to win.
I find your pastel quilt quite charming, yet I never seem to gravitate to pastels when I am shopping for fabric. I really need to get out of my comfort zone and try something new.
I absolutely love your site and your quilts. Those fat quarters are beautiful and i need to make one of those little quilts. I have one of your patterns “Tea in the Garden” which i dearly love and love working on. (woops, it isn’t finished yet) thanks for your inspiration scarlette shobbs@scarlette.com
